Microsoft's Surface 2 Tablet

Just in time for the Christmas shopping season, Microsoft is unveiling its latest tablet upgrade called Surface 2. This is the tablet that will go up against these rivals- Google's Nexus 7 and Apple's iPad Mini.

So what was the last Surface version called? Believe me it wasn't called Surface 1.0,in fact the Surface 2 has two predecessors- the Surface RT and the Surface Pro 2. But the very first one was called the original Surface Pro. Okay now with that out of the way- are we just ready for this new shiny tablet from Microsoft?

Surface 2 is an ARM-based (Tegra 4) tablet with a full HD display. It has a good eight hour run in terms of battery juice and it will run on the new Microsoft's Windows RT 8.1 OS.
